Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Prism Insights. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, courses, and related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

Service Usage Terms

1. Acceptable Use Policy

When using our services, you agree to:

Use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms
Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or enrolling in courses
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Respect the intellectual property rights of Prism Insights and other users
Engage respectfully with instructors, staff, and fellow participants
Use course materials solely for personal educational purposes

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Share, distribute, or reproduce course materials without express written permission
Use automated systems or software to access our services without authorization
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Engage in any conduct that could harm, disable, or impair our services
Harass, abuse, or harm other users or staff members
Use our services for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

3. Service Access Requirements

To access our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent if under 18
Have access to a reliable internet connection and compatible device
Provide valid contact information for course communications
Complete payment for enrolled courses using accepted payment methods
Agree to receive essential service-related communications

4. Fair Usage Guidelines

We expect all users to engage with our services in good faith. Excessive or abusive use of support services, unreasonable demands on instructors, or behavior that disrupts the learning experience for others may result in service restrictions or termination.

Account and Access

1. Account Creation

When enrolling in courses, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Update your information promptly if it changes
Maintain the security of your password and account
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

2. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Prism Insights will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

3. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms of Service or our policies
Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activities
You engage in behavior that harms other users or our services
Your account has been inactive for an extended period
We are required to do so by law or regulatory authorities

4. Multiple Account Policy

You may only create one account per person unless you have explicit permission to create additional accounts for legitimate purposes. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse our services is prohibited.

Service Availability and Limitations

1. Service Uptime and Maintenance

We strive to maintain reliable access to our services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Our services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

2. Feature Availability

The features and functionality of our services may vary depending on your location, device, browser, and course enrollment. Not all features may be available to all users at all times.

3. Geographic Restrictions

Our services are primarily designed for users in Japan. While we welcome international participants, some features or payment methods may not be available in all countries. Course schedules are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).

4. Service Modifications and Updates

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, including:

Website features and functionality
Course offerings and curriculum content
Pricing and payment terms
Scheduling and session formats

We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students of significant changes that affect their courses. However, we are not liable for any modifications or discontinuations of services.

Intellectual Property Rights

1. Content Ownership

All content provided through our services, including but not limited to course materials, text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and documentation, is owned by Prism Insights or our licensors and is protected by Japanese and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

2. License Grant

When you enroll in a course, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

Access and view course materials for personal educational purposes
Download materials explicitly marked as downloadable for offline study
Use course materials during the period of your enrollment

This license does not permit you to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or commercially exploit our materials without express written permission.

3. User-Generated Content

If you submit assignments, participate in discussions, or otherwise create content through our services, you retain ownership of your work. However, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display your submissions for educational and operational purposes related to the course.

4. Copyright and Trademark Notices

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used in our services are proprietary to Prism Insights or their respective owners. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

If you believe that any content on our services infringes your copyright, please contact us at info@cinaryildirim.com with details of the alleged infringement.

Payment Terms and Refunds

1. Course Fees

Course fees are stated in Japanese Yen and must be paid in full before the course start date unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Prices are subject to change, but enrolled students will not be affected by price increases after enrollment.

2. Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, and other methods as specified during enrollment. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

3. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on when you withdraw from a course:

More than 7 days before course start: Full refund minus administrative fee of ¥5,000
Within 7 days of course start: 50% refund
After course has begun: No refund, but credit toward future courses may be considered

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@cinaryildirim.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.

4. Late Payment

If course fees are not received by the due date, we reserve the right to restrict access to course materials and sessions until payment is received. Persistent non-payment may result in enrollment cancellation without refund.
